I have been experiencing some probs with Websphere application server
standard edition 3.0 in deploying servlets. Here is the situation :

We have installed WebSphere Application Server (WAS)standard edition 3.0.2
on AS400 V4R4 machine and administrating through a Windows NT 4.0 client to
configure webapplications and servlets.

I added my WebApplication to the default Servlet Engine and configured
properly with the classpath and doc root. Still I can't run servlets.

Some probs are :
1. " Establishing connection, please wait" dialog box is not going away
throughout the session.

2. The tree view for WebSphere Administrative Domain on Topology tab is not
visible and so I couldn't configure/change the properties of my
webapplications and servlets.

I appreciate your suggests on this and apologise, if pushed an off-topic
question.

Thanks.
