Using Javascript windows may cause you headaches as they have a habit of
hiding themselves leaving the user clicking a link that does not appear to
work as it doesn't refocus the secondary window (I guess this is a browser
bug)

Another way is to create a JSP yes/no screen- this can be generic (set up
messages to be displayed on a bean before forwarding). This causes a few
headaches if you are using beans with request scope- you can either store
them in the session or generate a load of hidden fields dynamically in the
confirmation JSP. If only there were a scope of 'two-request'...
