We had similar problems while attempting to configure the JDK settings. I
REALLY recommend that you uninstall iPlanet and reinstall it using the
"custom" installation mode. Select JDK mode rather than JRE mode and ONLY
enter the JDK root folder. leave "lib" and (can't remember the other)
subfolder entries blank (as per the isntructions). This should be able to
get you up and running. Don't mess with the JDK configuratikon settings
after that.
