   first make the dsn thru odbc then give these syntax
in ur jsp file--
 <%@ page import="java.sql.*" %>
<%
 Connection con=null;
 Class.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
 con=DriverManager.getConnection
        ("jdbc:odbc:dsname","username","password");
 Statement stat=con.createStatement();
%>

Now u should not have any problem.
