Well, since JSP gets changed into servlets, you'll likely see a first-time
only penalty for JSP (when it's compiled) and then JSP will perform
(probably) slightly worse than servlets will, since they're written fairly
generically whereas servlets can be written for efficiency and speed for
their specific task. By and large, though, you really won't see any speed
difference between them.
