The WAR (Web Application Archive) file is a new more structured way of
developing servlets and jsp pages. This new methodolgy is introduced I think
in the servlet 2.2 spec and JSP 1.1 spec. You first need to find out if
iPlanet has and implements these specs(which I don't believe they do at this
point however it has been a couple of months since I last worked on
iPlanet). If not, you will have to deploy your servlets to the servlet
directory and jsp pages to the web root as usual and seperately configure
all the dependent class files in the iplanet administrator.
I hope that this helps
