=> => =>Hi, => i m using jrun2.3 for jsp. jrun is unable to compile the =>jsp pages due =>to some settings i ve missed. when i call a jsp page, jrun =>creates the .java =>file for the servlet, but it is not compiling it i.e it is =>not creating the =>corresponding .class file. there is an error reported which says: =>500 Internal Server Error =>usage: javac <options> <sourcefile> =>and all the various options for javac command. This is the =>usual message u =>get if u type just javac in ur command prompt. => =>but when i try to compile the .java file created by jrun =>using my jdk from =>command prompt, it creates the class file. Now, if i call the jsp from =>browser, i see the expected result. =>In jrun settings, i have given the path for java compiler as =>c:\jdk1.2.2\javac.exe, which is where it exists. You just need to give the path (you don't need to specify the executable e.g. c:\jdk1.2.2\bin\ Remember to restart JRun default server after you have changed the settings. 7 => =>Someone using jrun, please give me what settings u need to =>give for jrun. =>that ll be very helpful. thanks. => =>============================================================== =>============= =>To unsubscribe: mailto [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body: =>"signoff JSP-INTEREST". =>Some relevant FAQs on JSP/Servlets can be found at: => => http://java.sun.com/products/jsp/faq.html => http://www.esperanto.org.nz/jsp/jspfaq.html => http://www.jguru.com/jguru/faq/faqpage.jsp?name=JSP => http://www.jguru.com/jguru/faq/faqpage.jsp?name=Servlets => =========================================================================== To unsubscribe: mailto [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body: "signoff JSP-INTEREST".
