Hi,
I think even if the file that needs to be downloaded is an Word/Excel/HTML files
which IE seems to understand and open in the window
we can use
response.setHeader("Content-Disposition","attachment;filename="+filename) to force
it not to open.
But i undertand that content-disposition is not a part of http standards yet.

I have another problem
When i try to download a html or a word file i am able to foce the browswer to
display a file dialog box but my requirement is
I should not allow it to display any name in the Save as file dialog box.If i dont
set any filename in the above command Netscape puts .html automatically. This i
donot want to happen.

Any workarounds for this is very much welcome
Regards
