Hi,
It depends on how your application sever supporting the session. If your
application server sends the
session in cookies, you don't need to use encodeURL. On the other hand, if the
session is supported through URL re-writing you need to call encodeURL().
You may need to call encodeURL, if is there is any hidden
variables appended to the JSP url.

Hi,
When using JSP and Servlets and using the RequestDispatcher to forward on to
the JSP page:
String jspUrl = "/search/jobresults.jsp";
ServletContext sc = getServletContext();
RequestDispatcher rd = sc.getRequestDispatcher( jspUrl );
rd.forward( req, res );
Do you need to encode the URL with response.encodeURL(),
response.encodeRedirectURL() or neither if the user is partaking in a
session ??
