You can use JavaMail api for sending mails from java programs. Download the
api from java.sun.com/products. Getting confirmation is out of your hands,
that means to say once you sent a mail you have to assume that has reached
the destination, if not you will recieve an undeliverable message to the
account from which you have sent the mail.
