If you are really concerned with application manageability, stuck with
stored procedures.
Consider a sudden need to change database structure, the DBMS version or
even switch the whole DBMS package for a higher performance product.
It will be light-years easier to rewrite procedures than to look for
scattered sql sentences all over your pages.
