Hey Kalyan and all WinMe users,
I have WinMe (since the beta phases), and it's working fine. Tomcat I
succeeded at installing, but I don't use it (Why? Just cuz. I will after I
incorporate XML capabilities to my box which already has
HTML/PHP/CGI/ASP/JSP/PerlScript/CFM and MySQL/AccessDB/MSSQL/OracleDB
support.)
For JSP usage, I use Allaire's JRun Server 3.0 (it's free for a single
Developer Edition user). It's easy, great, and interacts very well with
Apache Web Server for Win32. Oh, yeah... Apache, that's my web server of
choice, and I intermingled Tomcat to it for JSP/XML support... but as
stated, that will come only afterwards.
Again, JRun Server works magnificently... and if it works & runs on my
WinMe which has only Apache running with integrated support as
aforementioned, then I'm more than 200% positive it's possible on yours.
Yours,
