Hi,
The commonly used drivers for connecting to SQL Server are:
1) JDBC-ODBC bridge (type 1 driver)
2) IDS server (type 3 driver)
As far as i know microsoft haven't released a type 4 driver (direct
conversion to TDS protocol used by MS SQL). But some students have
cracked TDS and provided a type 4 driver at www.tds.com site. I heard
there is a commercial type 4 driver
by Avenir. But i don't know where it is available.

Server?
Thanks in advance,
