Hi all,

I have downloaded the JSP engine TOmcat and also the Apache Server for WINDOWS NT 4.
I wanted to know the installation procedures as well as the congfiguring Apache Server
to recognize Tomcat as the JSP Engine..
I went thru the documention of Tomcat...and also tried out to inlcude the follwoing
sentence in the httpd.conf file of the Apache:

ResourceConfig jakarta-tomcat/conf/tomcat-apache.conf

But after this when i start the Apache Server...it refuses to start.

I know this is very silly question...but where do i unzip the tomcat.zip file which is
downloaded.Do i keep it the Apache directory??
And also where should i keep my HTML and JSP files??
Is there any other configuration to be done to in the conf files of the Apache Server.

Also would like to know the mime type of JSP...do i have to add the mime type in the
mime.conf file of the ApacheServer?

Thanx for the help in advance
Regards
CB
