BEA Weblogic server supports a framework for realms (NT, LDAP or bespoke).
We have been using V4.5.1 successfully, but have
recently looked to upgrade to V5.1.0 which does have a major bug in that the
server will not recognise groups, so you have to set acls in the
weblogic.properties (config) file for the users you want to give access to.
Service pack 6 should fix this and BEA say it will be available in December.
This is a major pain, but once it's fixed, then it should be okay. We use
JSPs and set acls on all servlets so that a login is required to access the
site at all (we're writing b2b software). Once logged in, everything has
session scope. I've not set acls on a page basis, but I believe you can do
it, and it should be no different using an LDAP realm than anything else.

Hope this helps!!
