I didn't get an error. The included info just didn't show in the final
view.
I fixed my problem - the syntax as I wrote it was correct. I just had
problems with my web server configuration, which are now resolved.
So, it is legal and should work to have:
<%@ include file="../content/header.inc" %>
Thanks.

Subject: Another question on JSP include
Hi,
I am new to JSP and I have a another question on include:
My JSP file is in a directory as:
blah/intranet/roundtable/roundtable.jsp
My include file is:
blah/intranet/content/header.inc
I cannot figure out how to set a relative path to include header.inc in
roundtable.jsp. I would have thought the following would work:
<%@ include file="../content/header.inc" %>
But it doesn't.
I am using JSWDK but the final product will be deployed on Jakarta's TomCat
server. I don't think there is a common JSP context for the two servers so
I am reluctant to try setting the path relative to the JSP application's
context (even though I really don't know what that is at this point).
Can anyone help me?
Thanks.
