try this (server side date)
1. import java.util.*, java.text.*
2. Date today;
   String output;
   SimpleDateFormat sdf;
sdf = new SimpleDateFormat(ddMMyyyy h:mm a)
today=new Date();
output=sdf.format(today);
System.out.println("Here's your Date:  " + output);
3. Done.
