 Q222064 ("Pragma: no-cache" Tag May Not Prevent Pages from Being Cached)
 Q234067 (Prevent Caching in Internet Explorer)

 The references are from a message to the http-wg list,
and evidently refer to MS Support doc numbers. I haven't
checked them out personally

 If the above turns out to be useful, would you mind
reporting your results back to the list? Cache control
issues wrt to IE seem to crop up alot.

 It sounds like you've already got most of this info
already, but just for general reference, I've found:

   <URL:http://www.mnot.net/cache_docs/>

 to be a useful resource.
