I can suggest you to use Tag library in Jsp pages.
In tags put validations.
In these you can access your data base and you can set a message type
response.

Hi All,
My Data entry form has 20 fields. When the primary key
field is entered, this has to be checked with the
Backend data base whether this a valid one or not.
That is user has to enter only the valid value from
Database. If the value enterd by the user is not a
valid one, message has to be given asking him to
correct the value.
I am using JSP. The requirement is u can go and check
the Backend. But when u r coming back the page should
not get reloaded. it should look like client side
validation but actually u r doing server side one.
Please suggest me how this can be done.
