You can get a long value representing the number of milliseconds since
1/1/1970 by using the getTime() method. Store this value in the session
object and then when the user logs off, get another date and do the
getTime() method to retrieve another long. The subtract it and you have the
number of milliseconds the user was on the system. Then multiply it by 1000
to get the number of seconds or 60000 to get the number of minutes
