That is correct --
More importantly, you need to set the content type for the email in the
header, something like this:
Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Beware, not all email readers can handle the HTML.

The '<br>' tag only works if the page is going to be rendered as HTML
output. If you just want plain old ASCII text, then use "\n" in your
strings.

I guess you can use the tag <br>.
out.println("<br>");

Subject: how implement carriage return
Hi
how do you implement a carriage return when using JSP to construct the body
of an email?
For example, I want the email to look like this:
Make: Ford
Model: Mustang
Movie: Bullet
Instead when the form submitting this data is processed and the email
constructed I get this:
Make: FordModel: MustangMovie: Bullet
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Ian
