All,
I am trying to launch an applet from a servlet by opening a new window
using Java script.
Problem: If a click the URL which launches the applet, it opnes a window and
launches the applet. If a minimize the window with applet and click the URL
again, it gets the existing window with applet back into focus and tries to
load the applet and hangs.
Requirement: If a click the URL, javascript shall launche a new window and
launch the applet. after minimizing the window with applet, if a click the
URL again, it shall get the existing window with applet into focus, but
shall not load the applet again.
I spend couple of days changing the javascript. but not successful. Can
any one have the java script code for doing this? Is it possible to get the
focus with out downloading the contents?
