I've tried to send a text file with a non-.txt extention and that doesn't
help with certain flavors of IE.  This is also documented in MS's knowledge.
All files are "snooped" for content.  If there are in .txt or .doc formats
they will be shown in the browser in most flavors of IE regardless of wether
or not they have a .txt or .doc extention.
