Is there a way that JSP or a servlet could retrieve the user's logon ID
from Windows logon?
By doing this we could eliminate the logon screen but still capture the ID
of the user.
Has anyone done anything like that before?
On our intranet site everywhere we move we need to supply the ID and a
password for identification - and of course management doesn't want to use
cookies for this.

Thanks in advance
MC
