Download tomcat 3.2.1 release from jakarta.apache.org. Configure it first to work as a
standalone web server since it is web server ___AND___ a JSP Servlet container.
Afterwards
that you have checked it works then reconfigure to work with Apache.

BTW: You probably need to also download a modified mod_jserv.o file for Linux

Subject: JSP installation

Hello !!!

I have Apache 1.3, jdk 1.2.2, JSDK2.0, Apache_JServ 1.0 running fine on red
hat 6.0.

Now I need to run jsp programs as well, but I would like to keep my current
packages. I am not sure if I could get an apropriate version of jsp to work
with above packages. Also I know that Tomcat is an solution to it, but I am
not sure do I need to get rid of Apache_JServ and JSDK2.0 in that case.

Bottom line is, I need jsp to run on my machine with my servlets, so which
would be the best and easiest solution ?

Thank you.

Darko
