Hi,
I have a screen in which I want to give the search option to the user
for a particular field. This is a wild card search in which user can
specify the input string and based on that the data has to be fetched
from the database and shown to the user. As HTTP is a stateless
communication, I am storing that information in a JavaBean and use the
values whenever user needs them. I am storing that information based on
sessionid+username+servicename key that will be unique for the user for
that session.
Now if user opens another window with new window option from the
explorer and does a search on the same field but with a different
selection criteria, that will again will be stored in the JavaBean but
will overright the data saved by previous window because I think session
id does not change if user opens another window. Now if the user scrolls
in the previous screen, he will see different output altogather which is
different from the selection criteria of that screen.
Is there any option to correct this problem. Please suggest.
