Joe, isn't it a little curious to the company that in order to deliver an
example that should have taken a week, it's taken you months?
Additionally, it took you months to get the server and servlet engine
running.
I'm not sure how that looks to this company, however they may be thinking
twice about hiring you.
This is not the end of the world, however. If you know they have a need,
you can still deliver the application. However, I'm sure they don't have
much confidence in you.
I am an independent contractor and have been coding server side java using
j2ee for years and can help you. However, this sounds like something that
would involve alot of time and that means that you should consider using
professionals and billing for it.
