this is a browser specific problem.

for IE 5.0 you can change that option (extended options - printing - print
backgroundcolors and pics)

Hello,
  I don't know what to do, I have a servlet that paints the cells from a
table in diferents colors it depends in an algorithm, . The problem is that
when I print it in the printer the color of the cells are not printed.
