u may store the TLD whereevr u can refer to it. For example
<%@ taglib uri="<path_to_tld>" prefix="mytag" %>
where <path_to_tld> could be pointing to the TLD file. Alternatively u could
also append the content of TLD to web.xml. Overall the purpose of the TLD
file is to serve as the connecting link between the tag-containing page and
the class(es) handling the tag.

Subject: taglibs and javawebserver
hi,
I am using JavaWebServer2.0 and jdk1.2.2 and I want to
make a taglib. Where should I
store the ".tld" file. What about appending web.xml
file??
Does that mean I have to use only Tomcat.....
Thanx in advance.
