We're in the process of implementing Crystal Reports. There are two options:
1) you the CR web server which is very easy - you just type in the name of
the report file. The rub w/ that approach is that you have to pass a bunch
of things in the query string include the userid & password of the database.
This led us to 2) using the CR COM object for which we're using
http://www.infozoom.de/IE/home.html. It works well & they give great
support. We're at the point of getting the Java view to work which means
translating a long ASP to JSP, but I'm confident that it's going to work
base on what we've done so far.
