Sounds strange... the regular flow is to call the servlet using
RequestDispatcher.include(), have the servlet do the data retrieval,
put it on the request object using request.setAttribute() and getting back
to the JSP.
I tend to believe that all of the serialization/deserialization of objects
in order to pass them through the wire
is already taken care of by the servlet engine, doesn't it?
