Sufi,
There are alot of feature report's about application servers, as well as
benchmark reports. We bundle our Cloudscape Database software with several
app servers.
http://www.cloudscape.com/
BEA's Weblogic, SilverStream Server, Enhydra Multiserver, J2EE from sun,
etc...
BEA - http://www.bea.com/products/weblogic/server/index.shtml
Silver Stream -
http://devcenter.silverstream.com/DevCenter/DevCenterPortal?PID=DevCenter.ht
ml
Enhydra - http://www.lutris.com/products/index.html
Sun's J2EE - http://java.sun.com/j2ee/j2sdkee/
Each has pro's and con's. Your choice is best made when you establish the
requirenments of the application(s) in question. (I.E. Scalability, High
Availability, migration, etc..)
These are parameters that only you will know. I suggest downloading all of
them and giving each a whirl to see what suits you the best.
Cheers,
Dylan del Rosario
