Hello,

I'm writing a JSP application in which the user can specify a preferred
timezone, using Calendar's get/setTimeZone() method. How are Daylight
Savings Time changes handled by this? I don't know on which dates these
changes take effect, so I can't see how to change the specified timezone
automatically... but on the other hand, I don't want to irritate the user by
forcing him or her to change this manually (especially as the server's host
OS seems capable of doing this...).

Thanks,
Chris Brown
