Hello,

I am just beginning with BEA WebLogic Server 6.0 and looking in the
documentation the steps to pack and deploy an application but I found steps
like

- Create a temporary directory
- Copy all the files to this directory
- Create META-INF and WEB-INF/classes directories
- Copy files and more files
- Create deployment descriptors
- Create the .war file using jar

This is Ok to learn the process but not to work everyday.

Does WebLogic have a deployment tool like the J2EE Reference Implementation
from Sun?

If not, can I do the deployment from VisualAge IDE to WebLogic Server?

Please help,

Benjamin
