You are so off man... Stop giving Servlets a bad name.  Anyone who is still
putting html in their servlets should be shot! And most off those people
have moved to the JSP world now(Thank God).  JSP should only be used if
there is a need to use containers i.e. "beans" otherwise if you are in a
true b2b world servelts doing XSLT blows away type of sloppy JSP
implementation.

basicly jsp perform the task of compiling your program on the backend, plus
you has the power of java doing dynamic server side programming.
Jsp is good for separating html code from java code. while servlets doing
the opposite, you embed html code which can become tedious coding wise and
can become a nightmare if doing alot of edits and changes.
