About the date ...

In one of the first chapters, when talking about the new JSP and servlets
specifications, they say something like 'at the moment I am writing this,
March 2001, the JSP specification version 1.2 is in public draft' -or
something like that, I do not have the book right now-.

Keep in mind that the date on the book, March 2001, is the release/publish
date, not the date the book was written. The book takes 6 months to a year
to write and edit. Thus, the technology in the book is a bit older than 2
months.

Just my two cents.

Hello,

I just received the JSP book that most of you recommend me, Professional JSP
2nd Edition, and I found it very interesting. The book says was written in
March 2001, just two months ago! It also says is totally different from the
first edition. There is a lot of MVC in there, including one chapter to MVC,
other chapter for the Struts framework application and other chapters about
JavaBeans and EJBs.
