I had version 3.2.1 of Tomcat on my PC, but I changed it to Version 4.0-Beta5.  Now when I start the server and view the default Tomcat page (index.htm) at http://localhost:8080/ it is version 3.2.1 and not Version 4.0-b5.  I then tried to locate this file on the filesystem and it doesn't exist.  So I then switched the port it listens on to 80 and then re-viewed the index.htm file and it was the correct version 4.0-b5, but when I switched back to 8080 it returned to the old version.

Has anybody had this problem and do they know how to correct it???

Cheers

Carl
