Hi,
Due to requirement from a client we have to work with an ancient version
of Tomcat, 3.1.1. Now we have configured Apache and Tomcat so that only
the dynamic content(jsp) is served by Tomcat and the static content by
Apache. We have a Model-View-Controller architecture where the request
is passed to a servlet which in turn calls a mapper to get the data from
the database. This data is forwarded by the servlet to the jsp. The
problem is that if any exception is thrown by any of these classes,
Tomcat stops responding. We have to shutdown and then restart Tomcat.
Then everything works fine till the next exception.
Can you tell me what can be the problem?
Thanks in advance,
Arnab
