Frank:

Here the problem is not the classpath. You should
verify the following: is the class CoolMe inside any
package? If so you should write:

<jsp:useBean .... class="yourpackage.CoolMe" />

And one other thing: are you importing your class
inside the page? if you aren't doing this write:

<%@ page import="yourpackage.CoolMe" %>
