Hi,

I'm very new to JSP and now I've been approached by one of my clients to
look into putting a JSP interface on an existing C++ application (a Win32
application)
Aaaahhhh!

I'll be provided with an API for the existing application and I'm then
expected to say whether I can supply a new browser-based interface for this
existing application using JSP.

I'm wondering where I could find references or some information on
integrating JSP with existing applications...Help!

I've never worked with APIs before at all and I need to know that this would
be possible with JSP - I've been told it's relatively easy.
The existing API provides a function library and I (somehow) use JSP to make
calls to these functions and to deal with the response(s) from the
underlying application. Is this right??? Could anybody point me in the
direction of some documentation on doing this sort of thing...

I know this is a fairly vague mail but I'm kinda hazy about the details
myself...
Any advice, pointers, references, links etc... would be massively
appreciated

yours gloomily
