The best book I read about JDBC is "core JAva 2 Advanced Features".
However don't expect it to teach you how to create a DBConnection.class and
reuse it .
This is something I came up with after I saw that all books that talk about
JDBC keep repeting that specifc block of jdbc code all over in all the
examples. After the third time you have to access a database and get some
information you see that a DBConnection class does make a diffrence.
If you look at my page I got some examples that make use of if

Look at the Sax Parser Example and see how I implemented my DBCOnnection
class. I do admit that I need to go back to it and hanble exceptions in a
better way.
Take care

Subject: Need a good book
Has anyone read a good book on JDBC programming lately. I am looking for a
book that approaches the subject from both the DBMS and Java language
aspect. I guess I am just getting tired of the garden variety examples and I
would like to be aware of some other options. Maybe what I really want is a
good read on JDBC debugging, If I can understand the problems I am having I
can figure out the solution.
