The status of this JSR is that the expert group is just convening now
and we'll be working in the coming months to define the specification
under the JCP guidelines. The expert group is composed of a two-tier
group (participants and reviewers) which covers a very broad range
of expertise, so many perspectives will be represented.
I'm not in a position to make schedule committments at this time, but we
*hope* to have the community draft available for review before the end
of the year.
