I'm designing a JSP application which will have LDAP authentication. Just wondering if this sounds right... I will have 100 users. of these 10 will be in Group A 50 will be in Group B 40 will need to be in both groups. I'm going to configure the ldap server such that I have this: o=mycompany.com ou=people ou=groups I'm going to throw all 100 people in the people org unit and assign them to the appropriate groups. eg. My application will search under these trees.... o=mycompany.com, ou=groups, cn=Group A (authentication for first 10 users) o=mycompany.com, ou=groups, cn= Group B (authentication for next 50 users) o=mycompany.com, ou=groups, cn=Group A and it will also search the other tree for the rest of the users.... Does this sound right to you guys? Perhaps I should create my Group B at the top level (eg. o=mycompany.com, ou=Group A) and throw them in there....not sure thanks for any help you experts out there...
