Unless I'm mistaken I believe that you enable session information for any jsp by including the session=true|false setting on the page directive of the jsp page. Looking at the 1.0 spec, the default is true, so you will need to set your jsps to false if you want to supress session tracking. Not sure if the default has changed in subsequent versions of the spec
