is there a way to DESC a table using DBTAGS?

 For example, at the oracle command line (sqlplus) you would do DESC
TABLENAME and
you
 would get:

 SQL> desc table9;
  Name                                      Null?    Type
  ----------------------------------------- --------
 ----------------------------
  DB_Server_Name                                     VARCHAR2(255)
  Environment_Code                                   VARCHAR2(40)
  Node_Name                                          VARCHAR2(255)
  Software_Product_Name                              VARCHAR2(255)

As you can see, it's NOT a SELECT statement, so it's giving me problems.

 thanks!
