If you know ASP and ColdFusion, then learning JSP will be a
breeze - What you need to do first though is get started with learning Java
(without the Enterprise API's for the moment). I recommend the following
for a solid foundation:
1. visit www.javaranch.com to particaipate in the
forums and browse their resources
and the Java tutorial at www.java.sun.com
2. get a good book. Just Java 2 by peter van der linden
would be my recommendation.
3. think about getting certified as a Sun Java
Programmer.
RE: Wrox books - I'd steer clear of them unless they have less
than 3 authors.
