Troy, Thanks for the response and the offer of help.
Making the actual connection is not a problem, I have that working as we speak. However, I would rather go the 'Connection Pool' route and it gets tiresome translating the generic examples to Oracle specific. It's not that I can't eventually get it figured out (keeping in mind that I'm fairly new to JSP/Servlets/Java coding, but not programming in general). I was just hoping to find a more expeditious direct route without having to wade through all the genericism... ;) David -------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: Troy Campano [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, October 26, 2001 11:17 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Oracle and JSP/Servlets... if you've never made a connection to oracle from JSP, I have an example you could use...but I'm not sure of any sites that are oracle specific. =========================================================================== To unsubscribe: mailto [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body: "signoff JSP-INTEREST".
