That
depends on your database. In MS SQL Server for example, I can give permissions
at the column level. So if I don't want anyone to see a column, I take away
their permission for the column and allow them to see the other data. It is also
possible to encrypt data in SQL Server but I have never done this.
You
should read the documentation for your database and look up words like encrypt,
password, mask, etc.
