I believe that actually will leave off the querystring?  Craig, don't know
if you intended that to be part of it or not.

If you want the full querystring you can use this method:

javax.servlet.http.HttpUtils.getRequestURL(HttpServletRequest req)

whoops, I just reread the javadoc and that will also actually leave off the
querystring.  so you could do this:

HttpUtils.getRequestURL(request) + (request.getQueryString().equals("") ? ""
: "?" + request.getQueryString());
