Hi,

We are faced with some encoding problems, especially ISO Latin-1 to UTF-8
conversion problems.

In ISO Latin-1 , it seems that LATIN SMALL LETTER E WITH ACUTE is encoded by
E9.

Does some one know the Unicode value of LATIN SMALL LETTER E WITH ACUTE and
the
UTF-8 encoding of LATIN SMALL LETTER E WITH ACUTE ?

My problem is that :
On the unicode site (www.unicode.org), it seems that unicode encoding of
LATIN SMALL LETTER E WITH ACUTE is 00E9, but if you use the method getBytes
on a String object which contains LATIN SMALL LETTER E WITH ACUTE you get
"0xc3 0xa9" ...

-;(, why a such difference ?
